OpenDuet An open-source proactive agent that gets your work done and keeps you in the loop

It does the work behind the scenes

Maya’s morning brief flags an order that can’t ship Friday. OpenDuet drafts a note to the customer, and it goes out only when she taps Allow once.

Works with any tool, any agent, any channel

Connect your tools through MCP, bring the agent you’ve already built through AG‑UI and reach people where they are with the Channels SDK.

  1. Any tool

Your tools connect through MCP: GitHub, Linear, Notion, HubSpot or your own.

  2. Any agent

Bring the agent you’ve already built. Anything that speaks AG‑UI works.

  3. Any channel

Meet people on any surface they already use: OpenDuet’s own app, Slack and Microsoft Teams.

It works on a computer of its own, asks before it acts and meets you on the web, in Slack or in Microsoft Teams.

Starts your day with what matters

Each morning it reads your Gmail and Google Calendar, writes first with what needs you, and offers to take on what it can. Answer with a tap, or tell it where to start.

Handles the rest quietly

When it can take something on, it says so on a card. Slide the card right to hand it over or left to hide it. It answers “On it” and links the task right there in Chat.

Keeps working while you’re away

Hand it a job and get on with your day. Tasks lists each one by what it needs from you, with where it stands and what happens next, and opens into a report of what it decided and what it used.

Asks before it acts

Anything set to ask stops and shows you exactly what it will do and which rule asked, then waits for Allow once, Always allow or Refuse. Messages to other people always ask, and every action goes on the record with the rule that decided it.

Never sees your passwords

When a site needs a login, you type the password into a masked box. It goes straight to the site, never into the conversation OpenDuet reads. Saved logins are encrypted and can’t be read back out.

Learns how you like things done

On its first day it tells you how it plans to help and asks whether that sounds right. Tell it something once and it remembers. Give a project its own channel and say what it should know, and write a skill for a job you repeat.

Makes pages, decks and dashboards

Ask for a page, a deck, a dashboard or a doc. Everything it makes lands in Make as a card that opens into the full thing.

Works where you already work

Talk to it in Slack or Microsoft Teams, and let it work in Google Drive, Notion, Gmail and Google Calendar. Setup connects your mail and calendar, and the side panel keeps your channels, with older conversations under Archived.

Open source.Self-hosted.Enterprise ready.

OpenDuet is built on OpenBot, CopilotKit’s open-source, self-hosted agent platform: your stack, your infrastructure, your model.

  • Host it yourself

Run it on a laptop or your own servers with Docker and Bun.

  • Bring any AG-UI agent

Any agent that speaks AG-UI works, whether it’s built with LangChain, Mastra, Google ADK, CrewAI, Microsoft Agent Framework or AWS Strands, or written by hand.

  • Where your data lives

Policy, approvals, the audit record and saved logins stay in your own PostgreSQL. Threads and memory are kept in CopilotKit Intelligence. You choose the model.

  • MIT licensed

Read the code, change it and ship it.
